Reed Projects Gallery presents the solo show, ‘Collections of the Broken’, by Sandra Chevrier . The exhibition is a series of mixed media work on canvas, in what will be her debut European solo show. The Montreal based artist has swept the art scene by storm, gathering fans across the globe from afficionated collectors to first time buyers. A combination of pencil, watercolor and acrylic with overlapping collaged groups of classic superhero characters woven into the features is used in her works.

"Brassneck Brewery is a new retail brewery in the Mt. Pleasant neighbourhood of Vancouver, BC. Brassneck offers brewed on-site selections at their growler fill station or in their tasting lounge. Post was commissioned to establish Brassneck’s visual identity; the identity makes use of bold typography, starkly contrasted by more loose, whimsical ink drawings by artist Maggie Boyd."

Post Projects is a Vancouver based graphic art and design studio that began with the partnership of Alex Nelson and Beau House. We currently work with a network of local and international specialists on creative projects that include identity & branding, print media, and interactive development. ”It could be better” is an oft-repeated phrase in the Post Projects studio. We understand the commercial value of good creative ideas and see great potential for development in today’s visual landscape.

Today is the Day Pocket Planner by Jessica Hische.

The Today is the Day pocket planner looks like those old hardcover books with gold lettered-titles.

Lettering and illustrations are by Jessica Hische.

The Art Deco-inspired interior planner pages include full-page typographical illustrations of quotations by Emily Dickinson (“Forever is Composed of Nows”), Emily Bronte (“I’ve dreamt in my life dreams that have stayed with me”), John Gardner, Anthony D’Angelo, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and others.

The spine reminds you to “write every day”, and the back cover exhorts you to make it happen.
